We have a range of fun gifts inspired by exhibition, The Sixties.
The exhibition takes a fascinating look at this decade of momentous change, looking at both worldwide developments in music, fashion and space travel, as well as the ordinary lives of people in the UK.
Remember the days of Minis, Camper vans, Beetles and Lambrettas? Re-live your days on the road with our mugs, at £8.50 each, a pack of assorted coasters at £10.65, money box, £5.35, and lunch box, £11.75.
York Castle Prison
Take home a souvenir of our new exhibition, which tells of the time when the museum was Yorkshire’s county gaol.
The exhibition tells the real story of highwayman Dick Turpin, who spent his last night alive in the prison, and many other grim tales, from children born inside the walls to women ‘pleading their belly’ to avoid the drop.
Our York Castle Prison merchandise includes fridge magnets, mugs, pens and book marks as well as a range of books detailing the days when revolutionaries, murderers and debtors were held here.
Semi-precious jewellery
We sell a selection of jewellery made with semi-precious gem stones and prices start at £9.99.

The Pantry
The Pantry is a cosy, nostalgic shop at the back our entrance area, selling a selection of foodstuffs and sweets.
Best sellers include sweet jars at £2.50, preserves at £2.75, gift boxes at £2.50, caramels at £4.85 and Farrah's Harrogate toffee at £8.35.
