Travel and Parking
York Castle Museum is accessible by train and by bus.
It takes 20 to 25 minutes to walk to York Castle Museum from York Railway Station. York Castle Museum is in the centre of York, close to Clifford’s Tower and the Coppergate Shopping Centre.
For those wanting to travel by coach, the nearest coach parking to the museum is St. Georges Field Car Park. You can find more information on the City of York Council website.

Groups can either pay on the day via cash or card, or pay via invoice once the visit has taken place.
