We welcome travel journalists making press trips at all of our sites and can provide press packs about our latest exhibitions.

The downloadable images which accompany our press releases are for use by press, web and broadcast media only.

Photography and Filming

Media and special requests: Journalists, filmmakers or commercial/wedding photographers must contact us in advance to arrange permission and discuss any applicable fees​.

No Commercial, Business, or Promotional Use: Any filming or photography intended for commercial, business, or promotional purposes-including social media influencers, bloggers, and content creations requires prior written permission from the museum​.

No Flash, Selfie Sticks or Tripods: To protect our exhibits and ensure a safe environment, flash photography, selfie sticks and tripods, and other professional equipment are not allowed without prior approval.

Image Licensing

Collection images are available to download online here and are free from copyright (click here for our Image Collections Policy). If you would like to request permission to publish our images for other purposes, use them commercially, or to enquire further about copyright, please fill out our enquiry form directing it to the ‘Marketing, Press and Media’ option from the drop-down menu and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Filming and Photography Locations
